What is decanter centrifuge structure and principle

The horizontal decanter centrifuge composed of cylinder-cone drum, screw discharger, differential system, bearing seat, frame, cover, main and auxiliary motor and electrical system. The working principle is as follows: the suspension enters the drum through the feed pipe and the spiral discharge port. Under the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, the solid particles with a larger proportionare deposited on the inner wall of the drum. The spiral blade that moves relative to the drum continuously scrapes the solid particles deposited on the inner wall of the drum and pushes out the slag discharge port. The relative motion between the screw and the drum, that is, the differential speed, is achieved by the differential, and its size is controlled by the auxiliary motor. 


The housing of the differential is connected with the drum, the output shaft is connected with the helix, and the input shaft is connected with the auxiliary motor. The main motor drives the rotation of the drum and also drives the rotation of the differential housing. The auxiliary motor controls the speed of the input shaft of the differential through the connection of the coupling. The differential can transfer the torque to the screw according to a certain speed ratio, so as to realize the continuous separation process of the centrifuge.


 The decanter centrifuge main use


Used to deal with solid particles fine, slippery suspension of any concentration, that is, the concentration fluctuation of the suspension does not affect the separation effect. It can be used to deal with the three-phase mixture (liquidliquid-solid) where the density of solid is higher than that of liquid and the liquid emulsion has a density difference. It can also be used to deal with the separation of liquid-solid suspension. Such as: all kinds of fermentation liquid solidliquid separation, coal tar liquid-liquid-solid three-phase separation and palm oil three-phase separation.

Decanter centrifuge electrical Part : System description



The main machine of LW250 and LW355 centrifuges is composed of dual motor, double frequency conversion control and energy feedback drive composed of high performance frequency converter. The features of this control system are as follows:

a. The main and auxiliary inverter DC bus are directly connected, which has excellent energy saving effect and obvious power saving effect, and the auxiliary motor is in power generation state when the centrifuge is running, and the continuous working system;

b. Gentle start, wide speed range, can meet the treatment of liquid with different solid content, significantly improve the processing capacity;

 

c. The main motor and the auxiliary motor are controlled by frequency converter, which realizes the stepless adjustable speed of the centrifuge drum and the difference speed within the design range, and the reasonable difference speed can be obtained by adjusting the speed of the auxiliary motor.

(1) The main and auxiliary motors of the centrifuge are Zhejiang Jiangtian motor, AC 220, three-phase, 60Hz.

 

(2) The inverter adopts Delta brand. The control cabinet is stainless steel.

 

5. Manufacturing standards for control cabinets

 

(1) All the control cabinets and switchgear used for low-voltage AC systems are installed and tested in accordance with the technical requirements of the installation of power system protection circuits in IEC439. 220V power supply is directly supplied to each cabinet, and the cable entry method is cable entry. The user provides 220V (three-phase four-wire) low-voltage power supply. The electrical control cabinet is provided with a main air switch at the power supply side. The air switch has short circuit and overload protection. Control cabinet anticorrosion treatment is hot dip galvanized after spraying plastic.
