What is horizontal screw discharge sedimentation decanter centrifuge?

The decanter centrifuge is a countercurrent horizontal spiral discharge sedimentation decanter centrifuge, the main machine is composed of cylinder-cone drum, spiral discharge device, differential system, bearing seat, frame, cover, main and auxiliary motors and electrical systems. The decanter centrifuge working principle is: suspension Under the centrifugal force generated by high-speed rotation, solid particles with larger gravity are deposited on the inner wall of the rotating drum. The spiral blades moving relative to the rotating drum continuously scrape the solid particles deposited on the inner wall of the rotating drum and push out the slag discharge port. The separated clear liquid flows out of the rotating drum through the opening of the liquid layer regulating plate. 


The relative motion between the screw and the drum, that is, the differential speed, is achieved by the differential, and its size is controlled by the auxiliary motor. The housing of the differential is connected with the drum, the output shaft is connected with the helix, and the input shaft is connected with the auxiliary motor. The main motor drives the rotation of the drum and also drives the rotation of the differential housing, and the auxiliary motor controls the speed of the input shaft of the differential through the coupling. The differential can transfer the torque to the screw according to a certain speed ratio, so as to realize the continuous separation process of the centrifuge.

Decanter centrifuge operation mode


The main machine of LW355 centrifuge is composed of double motor, double frequency conversion control, energy feedback driven by high performance frequency converter and complete function control system. The characteristics of this control system are 

a. The DC bus of the main and auxiliary inverter is directly connected, which has excellent energy-saving effect and obvious energy-saving effect. The auxiliary motor is in power generation state when the centrifuge is running, and the working system is continuous. 

b. Gentle start, wide speed range, can meet the treatment of liquid with different solid content, significantly improve the processing capacity; 

c. The main motor and the auxiliary motor are controlled by frequency converter, which realizes the stepless adjustable speed and differential speed of the centrifuge drum within the design range by adjusting the rotation of the auxiliary motor speed can obtain a reasonable difference of speed.
