Brief Introduction

The series of products designed for laboratory two phase separation, it is mainly used for small batch from 1L/H - 500 L/H continuous processing operations, the minimum throughput is far less than the required throughput, industrial centrifuges for the study of scientific research units and small batch production of the best separation equipment: in the past, this processing phase process usually choose partial simulation methods.


Application

LW series of high performance small horizontal screw centrifuges are usually used in the food fermentation industry, fine chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The centrifuges should also be used to produce high quality products with flow rate less than 200L/H.LW  series can also be used as measuring instruments to record the two-phase flow characteristics of the test products and the torque changes and power consumption of the screw, and to modify the process from the flow behavior of the products.


Separator features and application range

The working principle of horizontal screw centrifuge is very simple. It has been known by the public for a century. The drum and screw are supported by separate suspension.The material enters through the inlet pipe and accelerates into the core drum body through the drum.

 

Separation process

The core consists of a cylindrical and conical rotating drum, and the centrifuge forces the solid material to deposit on the drum wall.


Solid discharge

The helix has the same shape and Angle as the drum, rotating at a slightly faster speed than the drum, so that the separated solids are pushed towards the end of the narrow cone and expelled from the drum.The degree of dehydration of solids depends on many factors, in addition to the reason of the material itself, but also depends on the length of the separation of solids in the centrifuge, as well as the Angle of the tight rotation of solids, in addition to the screw and drum speed difference is also an important factor.


Drainage

A chuck is installed at the bottom of the drum to adjust the depth of liquid level. The clarified liquid flows to the bottom along the spiral cylinder, and then is collected in the drain bucket to discharge the machine. The depth of the clarified liquid in the drum can be adjusted by changing different baffles.
